Jessica Marquez is a member of the firm’s General Liability and Transportation Law Practice Groups. She primarily handles cases defending personal injury actions involving trucking and transportation, premises liability and various other civil litigation matters. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, trucking and transportation companies, national and regional retailers, product manufacturers, businesses and individuals.
Jessica joined Haight Brown & Bonesteel as a summer associate in 2022. Her litigation experience includes legal research, drafting law and motion, propounding and responding to discovery, and preparing for settlement conferences and other court appearances.
Jessica graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a minor in Communications. Thereafter, Jessica graduated from Loyola Law School.
During law school, Jessica competed in the Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition. She served as a board member for the Environmental Law Society and as a clinical student for the Project for the Innocent at Loyola. She also mentored low-income youth in the Young’s Lawyers Program.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family. She hopes to accomplish her lifelong goal of visiting all the National Parks in the country.
