Plaintiff (64) underwent coronary artery bypass in 2015. In 2018, a pacer wire was incidentally detected on radiological examination performed for an unrelated health concern. In 2019, the wire was removed without complication. Plaintiff’s wife claimed loss of consortium. Ms. Haskins worked in concert with counsel for the co-defendant physician and the entire matter was dismissed for a waiver of costs shortly after the deposition of the plaintiff.
