Attorney Keith Rozanski is slated to present at the Korean American Bar Association on October 11, discussing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). He will speak to Korean-American business owners about how they can minimize the risk of being sued by understanding what ADA compliance entails.
Many disability lawsuits are filed because individuals are denied full and equal access to businesses as a result of construction-related disability access violations; however, Mr. Rozanski notes that there have been recent changes to state disability laws, which provide added protections to the small businesses that are sued.
Founded in 2007, the Korean American Bar Association is a pro bono organization comprised of attorneys and law students who are dedicated to serving the community. The organization provides legal services and support to local neighborhoods, fosters relationships among law students and attorneys, and provides scholarship opportunities.
