Haight’s 80 Acts of Kindness continue as the firm recently participated in the annual West Coast Casualty Construction Defect Seminar in Anaheim, California. Attendees throughout the State of California and the nation come together for a cutting-edge construction defect seminar, but also take time to contribute to a variety of causes and charitable organizations that are near and dear to the seminar organizer, sponsors and attendees. As part of the firm’s yearly participation, Haight contributed to Taking Control of Your Diabetes (TCOYD). TCOYD (www.tcoyd.org) is a not-for-profit 501(c) 3 charitable organization dedicated to educating and motivating people with diabetes and their loved ones to take a more active role in their own health and to provide continuing diabetes education to medical professionals to better care for their patients.
Guided by the belief that every person with diabetes has the right to live a healthy, happy, and productive life, Taking Control of Your Diabetes educates and motivates people with diabetes to take a more active role in their condition and provides innovative and integrative continuing diabetes education to medical professionals caring for people with diabetes.
