In a trial that spanned four months, the Home Owners’ Association for a high-rise condominium complex sued the developers, general contractor and a trade for breach of warranties and construction defects. Haight represented the manufacturer of a construction product in a cross-complaint, filed by the developers and general contractor, that asserted the product was defective. The jury concluded that the defendants were responsible for the plaintiff’s damages, awarding in excess of $5,500,000. The jury concluded that the product manufacturer was not negligent in any fashion.
