M. Jason Aniel is a member of the firm’s Construction Law Practice Group. He defends cases that are complex, have high exposure potential and arise from construction defect, construction workplace injuries and other construction law matters.
His clients include construction companies, general contractors, subcontractors and developers and homeowners in multi-party construction defect litigation.
He is also experienced representing clients in all aspects of civil litigation in Federal and California courts, including sports. These cases involve issues of fraud, interference with contracts, and breaches of contract.
Mr. Aniel manages his cases from inception and pre-litigation analysis and strategy all the way through discovery, law and motion, negotiations and trial. He has taken and defended numerous depositions of parties, percipient witnesses, corporate representatives and experts. His previous experience in transportation, real property, personal injury, product liability and complex tort and casualty has given him unique insight and perspective in his current practice.
Mr. Aniel effectively collaborates with his clients, insureds and claims representatives. He appreciates the value of input from his clients and how it enhances the overall handling of his cases, and continued analysis and strategy.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, and rooting for his favorite San Francisco sports teams. Mr. Aniel is a member of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC) and Association of Defense Counsel for Northern California.
